Intoxication
Riding around on horses wild,
Never felt the breeze so mild.
Sky never seemed so blue,
World today has a different hue.
Eyes see clearly through the haze.
My life no longer is a maze.
Answers scream themselves aloud,
Life no longer has a doubt.
Smiling away at life mundane,
Flushing worries down the drain.
Think I am getting insane.
Alas! that's a drunkard's bane.
Everything calls you a fornication,
At best civil society's aberration.
But I am so close to salvation,
Thanks to you dear intoxication.
